KANJISEKAI GUIDE

Getting started with KanjiSekai

Create an account, choose a practice mode and complete your first lesson to start your word collection.

Content updated:

What do you need?

Use a web browser with an Internet connection and a KanjiSekai account. The public reference library is available before registration. Choose Play, then sign up with your name, email and password or sign in to an existing account.

Choose your first adventure

Select Start in the client to see three modes. Kanji Structure practices combining components, Vocabulary practices Japanese words and their romanized readings, and Kanji Meaning uses Sino-Vietnamese clues. Start with one mode to learn the controls before switching.

How many items are in a lesson?

Lessons contain up to 10 characters or words; the final lesson may be shorter. Completing a practice lesson unlocks its entries in that mode's collection. The three modes track progress separately.

Do you need a paid pass?

No. Registered free accounts can play the N5 lessons. N4–N1 content is not released yet, and buying a pass does not unlock unreleased lessons. Read the pass details and duration before purchasing.

These guides describe current features and suggested workflows. Character meanings and readings come from the reference dataset, not from generated guide text.
