KANJISEKAI GUIDE
How the three practice modes work
Structure, Vocabulary and Meaning focus on different tasks. You can switch modes while keeping your saved progress.
Content updated:
Kanji Structure
Observe the target and combine the components supplied by the exercise. Enable guidance if you need a hint. The supplied decompositions are exercise aids; do not assume every combination is an account of the character's historical origin.
Japanese Vocabulary
Practice words and romanized readings in the supplied dataset. Match the complete word to its reading. Do not infer a compound's meaning simply by combining individual character glosses. Reference readings are shown only for exact matching records.
Kanji Meaning
Use the Sino-Vietnamese clue to identify a character. Sino-Vietnamese is a Vietnamese reading, not a Japanese pronunciation. For Japanese readings, consult the reading section of the reference entry or collection.
Combining the modes
You can try Structure, inspect the entry, then move to Vocabulary or Meaning. This is a suggested workflow, not a required syllabus. Each mode unlocks collection entries from its own completed lessons.
These guides describe current features and suggested workflows. Character meanings and readings come from the reference dataset, not from generated guide text.
